I got a report from my source in Wilmington and the trails are fine. The Brandywine ride is on for 9am this morning.

It is raining at the shop, so tonight's ride is not going to roll...

Team Valueact Capital comes to AW

The Valueact Capital ladies pro cycling team will be at the shop on Friday, June 5th at 6pm. Come on by to ask questions, take pictures, grub on some refreshments and have a jolly good time. See ya tomorrow night!

Alternate mountain ride

There will be a ride at Camden County College at 10:30 this morning. They will be parking on the park side, near the soccer fields. The first lot on the left. If you are facing the college from the street, the park is to the left of the college. Have fun, kiddies!

It was supposed to be sunny, but...

It's raining quite a bit in Delaware and has started raining here, so we are going to cancel the mountain bike ride. I am not happy...

Memorial Day new loop, 2 groups

While the shop is closed for the holiday, we will be riding! Meet us at the bike shop for either a 50 mile B ride (17-19 mph average pace) or a 37 mile C ride (14-16 mph average pace). Both rides will roll at 9am. The 50 mile ride will likely be the PARVIN STATE PARK LOOP. I put that in caps so you will meet us at the shop and not ride in expecting to meet us part way into the old holiday loop. The 37 mile C ride will be the Saturday morning loop.

If we get the predicted bad weather, I will post a cancellation one hour before ride time. Thanks and I hope to see you in the morning.

Mud and such

The rain we have had this past week once again keeps us from heading to the Brandywine this weekend. If you want to go mountain biking today, head to Camden County College as those trails absorb the water really well. We will try again next week...

Sorry to say...

There's been way, way, way too much rain this week to even think about riding in the Brandywine tomorrow. It is with deep regret that I must cancel the Sunday morning mountain bike ride. Don't worry, we will be in a drought soon enough and every ride will be on dusty trails.

Join us in the Action Wheels parking lot on Monday, May 4th from 4-8p to test ride lots of different bicycles from Specialized. We will have a huge truck full of bikes available so come dressed and ready to ride. If you were planning to do our Monday night ride, come early so you can get set up to ride a test bike!
